I'm building a gear indicator and information display for my CBR500R. It uses an Arduino Pro Mini, Nokia 5110 display, and hooks in to the Honda diagnostic connector under the seat. Protocol is a custom OBD k-line format. Here is some useful information on the protocol used.

The first version I created used 2N7000 MOSFET's for the serial interface and it worked fine on a breadboard. However, before I could build the final physical version I received some LIN transceivers that should simplify the circuit considerably. I'm working on a new version of the hardware design now.

I have never built Deviation myself so I'm not sure how to do it either. :( It's probably not very difficult if you can find some instructions. I was looking here: https://bitbucket.org/PhracturedBlue/deviation

i real want to make a tx devo 7e because i like suporting protocols from deviation.

i read in deviation how build a program for ARM on windows and Linux .But i real don't understand whats they write .

So ,i hope you  explain simple to i can make them .I bought all component to make it .STM32,Eprom,Lcd ......

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with STM or even deviation really. It looks like the 7e is supported by Deviation. Do you have a 7e radio?

Can you take a picture showing the connections between the CC2500 and the Pro Mini?

You might want to add a capacitor to the output of the 3.3V regulator (from the output to GND). According to the technical sheet the AMS1117 requires a capacitor on the output. You should be able to use almost any value capacitor. A tantalum capacitor around 22uF is best although a smaller or larger value should work just as well (eg. 6.8uF, 10uF, etc). Make sure to get the polarity correct if using a polarized capacitor.

You can edit the skyartec9x.ino file at the top and enable debugging by uncommenting the "#define DEBUG" line. Then connect the Pro Mini to a serial port (115200 baud) and it should print out the PPM signal it is getting from the 9x so you can verify it is working.

It has been a long time since I did the bind and I can't remember exactly how to do it. I was just looking at the code and I believe it only stays in bind mode for 3 seconds after the module is first powered on. This might be too short. If you look at the skyartec9x.ino file around line 297 there should be the code "bind_count = 1000". Maybe try increasing that to 5000 (15 seconds to bind) or even 10000 (30 seconds to bind).

This is a small 25mm by 30mm MultiWii board I started designing a while ago. I haven't had much time to refine or test it. I did create a prototype board but that's about it. The intent was to create a board small enough to be used on micro quads, helicopters, and planes.

I'm providing the KiCad schematic and board layout here.

Which version of the simonk firmware are you using?

If using the older 2012 firmware then the ESC's must not be calibrated. If they have been calibrated then the settings must be erased with the EEPROM_wipe.hex file. I'm not sure if this can be done with the kkflashtool because you need to flash the EEPROM, not the flash area (default).

If using the newer firmware then I'm not sure what the problem is because the firmware is suppose to disable calibration (maybe it doesn't work).

Sorry, I missed your other post. Yes, it will work with any DEVO RX as far as I know. I have flown a Genius CP, Mini CP, and V120. The range is very limited though, around 30 meters.

No need to activate if you do not use the GUI. It will run for more than 7 days.

Try this version of the BLHeli source. It has the line endings converted to DOS. Maybe that will work better. Or at least let us know if that is the problem.

Oh I know what the problem probably is.  The source code must have DOS line terminators (CR + LF) and it does not by default.  So all the "*.inc" and "*.asm" files must have DOS line endings.

Hmm, I'm not sure how to convert them in Windows.  In Linux I use the "flip" command to convert them to DOS format. Maybe there is something similar for Windows.

You have change the destination directory to "C:\Raisonance" or it won't work.
